BUCYRUS, Ohio — A Halloween pub crawl will move through five Bucyrus establishments on Saturday, Oct. 31, from 5 to 9 p.m., according to the organizer's announcement published by Crawford County Now.
The participating venues are the American Legion, Moose Family Center, Amvets, Bucyrus Taphouse and VFW Post 1078. Organizers said participants begin by paying a $10 entry fee at any one of those locations.
At each stop, crawlers can enter that venue's costume contest. The schedule also includes 50/50 raffles and ticket sales for a booze basket raffle, with the basket drawing set for 9 p.m. at the Moose Family Center.
Money raised is designated for three local causes: the Bucyrus Backpack Program, Oakwood Cemetery and the VFW Ramp Assistance Project. The announcement framed the evening as a chance to support local businesses while benefiting community programs.
Details come from the event announcement; no independent confirmation of the schedule or beneficiaries was reported.
