WILMINGTON, Ohio — The Clinton County Board of Commissioners has formally commended Alkermes for its work with the county's Job & Family Services agency.

Under Resolution 26-1016, the commissioners recognized donations and assistance from the company that, according to the county, have helped the agency serve local individuals and families in need.

A proclamation tied to the resolution highlighted how partnerships linking private businesses, civic groups and public agencies can improve community well-being. Commissioners described Alkermes' participation as an example of the constructive effect employers can have when they put money into the areas where they do business.

The vote was unanimous. Commissioner Brenda K. Woods introduced the motion to adopt the resolution, Vice President Mike McCarty seconded it, and Commission President Kerry R. Steed joined both in supporting the measure.
