Night work on Interstate 71 is among the Clinton County projects described in a September 14 News Journal report citing the Ohio Department of Transportation. The resurfacing area runs between the Smith Road and Gurneyville Road overpasses.
The report says at least one lane in each direction is planned to remain available during work scheduled for approximately 9 p.m. to 7 a.m. Completion is estimated for November 2026, with weather affecting the timetable.
Other restrictions include a State Route 134 bridge closure expected to last through mid-November and reconstruction on Davids Drive in Wilmington. Several additional routes have flaggers or temporary signals rather than unrestricted travel.
