Columbus has issued a construction update for the Blueprint Hilltop 4 project covering the week of September 14, 2026.

According to the bulletin, work in that period includes building bioretention basins and installing storm sewer lines across the project area. Crews are also doing restoration, which the notice describes as cleanup plus concrete work.

Drivers should expect temporary lane closures, with flaggers directing traffic when needed. The city cautions that construction schedules can shift because of weather, site conditions and other factors.

Residents unsure whether they fall inside the work zone can check the Blueprint map by entering their address.

The bulletin also promotes sump pump installations, saying the offer is available for a limited time. Residents can contact the city to join a waitlist for a no-obligation assessment.

A separate reminder asks anyone experiencing a basement backup, described as sewer water rising from a floor drain, to call 614-645-7102. The city says crews are investigating such issues citywide, so responses will not be immediate, and it asks for patience.

Questions or concerns about the construction can go to 614-645-1253 or blueprint@columbus.gov.
