A Crawford County man received a three-year prison term after entering a guilty plea in Crawford County Common Pleas Court, according to the local outlet Crawford County Now.
The report identifies the defendant as Joseph T. Lewis, who pleaded guilty to a single third-degree felony count of drug possession. Under a plea agreement, two lesser charges against him were dismissed, the outlet said.
Judge Sean Leuthold imposed the sentence and gave Lewis credit for 483 days he had already spent in jail. Lewis was being held at the Crawford County Jail and was to be moved from there to a prison to serve the remainder of the term, per the account.
The proceeding took place in Bucyrus. The report did not specify which drug was involved, what the two dismissed counts were, or a calendar date for the hearing, describing the plea only as occurring Wednesday.
