Crossroads Farm - The Mine has relocated to 158 S. Main St. in Cadiz, according to Your Ohio News. The youth ministry marked the move with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Sept. 16 that the Harrison County Regional Chamber of Commerce hosted.

Chamber Director Milo Baker said the village came together for the event and described the ministry as a vital force for young people, adding that the chamber welcomes everyone to the new location. Supporters attended alongside the organization's staff and administrators and toured the space, the report said.

The Mine provides programs, trips and other activities for students, with prayer, devotional activities, Bible studies and music included in its programming, according to the report. Administrators run the programs with help from volunteer leaders.

Executive Director Carrie Olsen said the organization is excited to serve students in the building and encouraged people to explore and pray over its different areas. Program Director Luke Marshall oversees activities and works with volunteers and student leaders, and said students enjoy gathering in the spaces, where popcorn is provided and games and conversation take place.

The report also said the organization has grown since its founding, creating a need for additional volunteers, and that people interested in volunteering must undergo a background check.
