Mansfield crews have shut down a portion of Stewart Avenue South so water main repairs can be made, according to a notice issued by the City of Mansfield Service Complex.
The affected stretch runs between Park Avenue West and Summit Street. Construction signs are stationed at the work zone, and the city said vehicles will not be allowed through while the job is underway.
Motorists are being directed to choose another route to reduce the chance of slowdowns. The notice, dated Oct. 1, 2026, gives a target reopening date of Oct. 9, 2026. Don Crose of City of Mansfield Service is named as the contact on the announcement.
Anyone with questions about the closure may call the City Service Complex at 419-755-9806 during regular business hours, Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
