Marshalls plans to open a store at Circleville Plaza in Circleville, Ohio, with a grand opening set for Thursday, Oct. 29, according to the Scioto Post. The retailer, described as a major off-price chain, said the roughly 22,700-square-foot location will carry brand-name and designer apparel, shoes, beauty products, accessories, home decor, pet supplies and children's items at discounted prices.

The store at 190 Summit Ave. will hold grand-opening hours from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Oct. 29, then operate daily from 9:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Features include a single-queue checkout intended to speed service and daily inventory deliveries.

The opening is expected to add about 60 full- and part-time jobs in Pickaway County, and Marshalls is donating $10,000 to the Emergency Clearinghouse Association of Pickaway County Inc. to mark the occasion, the report said.

Nancy Carpenter, president of Marshalls, said the company is excited to bring Circleville shoppers high-quality, brand-name merchandise at strong value. The Scioto Post reported that Marshalls operates more than 1,200 locations nationwide and regularly supports national charitable efforts including Breakthrough T1D, the Alzheimer's Association and St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
