The Ohio Department of Transportation has announced a resurfacing project on Interstate 71 and outlined a series of other construction jobs across Clinton County.
On I-71, crews will repave the stretch between the State Route 73 and U.S. 68 interchanges, running from the Smith Road overpass to the Gurneyville Road overpass. Traffic is to be narrowed to one lane in each direction at night, roughly 9 p.m. to 7 a.m., with the job scheduled to wrap up in November.
Elsewhere, paving continues on U.S. 22 from the Warren County line to the Wilmington corporation limit. State Route 28 work includes bridge rehabilitation in New Vienna and guardrail repair plus chip-seal paving between Martinsville and New Vienna.
A bridge replacement over the East Fork Little Miami River keeps State Route 134 closed through mid-November, with detours posted along U.S. 50, U.S. 68 and State Route 28. Davids Drive is shut to through traffic between Rombach Avenue (U.S. 22) and Lynne Lane for reconstruction, with a detour using Progress Way, Airborne Road, State Route 134 and Davids Drive; the closure is expected to last until about Nov. 18.
Additional work is listed on State Routes 72, 133, 350, 380 and 730, covering culvert rehabilitation, bridge finishing work, resurfacing and chip-seal paving.
ODOT says all construction is weather-dependent and advises motorists to check OHGO.com before traveling.
