The Ohio Department of Education and Workforce's October bulletin directs educators to two dashboards that follow students' education and workforce results across the six years after high school graduation.

According to the department, the Ohio High School Outcomes Dashboard offers measures of college enrollment, college completion, employment and earnings. The department says users can view data at several levels: statewide, JobsOhio region, district, school, career technical planning district and career-technical education field. A companion dashboard covers career and technical education outcomes.

The bulletin notes that Ohio School Report Cards came out Sept. 15, 2026, and points to guides covering the report cards generally, career-technical planning districts, and dropout prevention and recovery programs. It also lists approved 2026-2027 math diagnostic assessments, K-3 math diagnostic screening guidance, and an updated Science of Reading professional development document.

Schools serving grades K-5 that showed low performance on the Early Literacy Component of the state report card may seek support from Instructional Implementation Teams and an Educational Service Center partner. The bulletin says Learning Walk requests are due by Oct. 31, 2026.

An attendance data course for school improvement is available through Ohio Learn.

Scheduled October sessions include an Oct. 16 Ohio Education Data Professional Network event on the Ohio State Test item development process, an Oct. 19 webinar on the Traditional College, Career, Workforce and Military Readiness Component, and an Oct. 19 attendance webinar on engaging community partners. Other dates cover special education ratings, math office hours and school counselor meetups.

The department also described its process for requesting ADA accommodations, urging contact with its ADA coordinator at least three business days before an event.
