An Ohio Education and Workforce official bulletin announces that a final correction opportunity for career-technical education program of concentration data in EMIS will open on Oct. 22, 2026. According to the bulletin dated Oct. 14, 2026, superintendents from traditional districts, community schools, STEM schools, and joint vocational school districts that must report CTE follow-up data will be able to review the students listed in their 2027 Exiting Student Follow Up Level 2 Report.

Districts responsible for a student's CTE Exiting Student Follow Up can submit the final correction opportunity. If a list is wrong because of misreported concentrator data in EMIS, the bulletin directs districts to consult the guidance document on the Districts and Schools Final Correction Opportunities webpage. The bulletin states this is the only chance to update the CTE Program of Concentration for the 2027 CTE Follow-up List.

Districts can later request a correction for placement and credential data during the final correction opportunity for Follow-Up data after the initial Follow-Up window ends. However, the bulletin says no changes to a student's CTE Program of Concentration will be made based on district final correction opportunities after the Nov. 9 deadline. More information is available on the final correction opportunities webpage, and questions can go to the Department's Office of Data Quality.
