The Ohio Education and Workforce department's Education Management Information System bulletin for Oct. 6, 2026 lists three collection requests now available: FY27 Final Calendar (C) at version 1, FY27 Tier 1 Dyslexia Screener (A) at version 1, and FY27 Diagnostics (A) at version 1. According to the bulletin, readers should consult the Release Notes for specifics on those recently posted requests.
The same bulletin repeats its reminder about EMIS Focused Training on discipline, scheduled later in October. Two sessions are offered: Wednesday, Oct. 21, 2026 at 1 p.m. and Thursday, Oct. 22, 2026 at 9:30 a.m. The department lists the agenda as a Student Discipline (GD) Record review, Positive Behavior Intervention Support (PBIS), discipline and special education, and reporting scenarios.
The bulletin states that signing up in advance is unnecessary. A link to join each session, plus a presentation handout, is to be placed on the department's EMIS Focused Training webpage.
For disability-related accommodations, the department asks people to reach its ADA coordinator by email or by phone at least 72 hours before the session they plan to attend. Requests that arrive inside that window may not be accommodated, the bulletin says, though the department describes making every effort to help.
