The Ohio Department of Education and Workforce's Local Professional Development Committee is set to meet Oct. 8 in Columbus. The meeting is scheduled for 1-2:30 p.m. in conference room 504 at 25 S. Front St.
The department's notice says public participation is welcome during the time set aside on the agenda. An agenda is to be posted on the department's public meeting notices webpage.

The notice states that accommodation requests submitted fewer than 72 hours before the meeting may not be able to be fulfilled. The department says it will make every effort to provide accommodations when possible, and it describes a commitment to access, inclusion and reasonable accommodation under the Americans with Disabilities Act and other laws.
