Ohio districts may request a final correction opportunity for certain fiscal year 2026 data under a window described in an Oct. 12 bulletin from the state Department of Education and Workforce. The request period runs from Monday, Oct. 12, through Friday, Oct. 23.

According to the bulletin, the opportunity covers graduation and graduate cohort data. For the graduate cohort, corrections are limited to the Fiscal Year Began Ninth Grade or Grade Level Element, the bulletin states.

Three roles can open and complete the forms: the superintendent, the EMIS coordinator, and a superintendent designee. The bulletin says a form is not officially submitted to the department until the superintendent approves it to finish the process.

The department pointed districts to its Districts and Schools Final Correction Opportunities webpage for further details and directed questions to its Office of Data Quality. Contact information in the bulletin lists 25 South Front Street in Columbus, Ohio 43215, phone numbers (614) 387-0395 and (877) 644-6338, and the email address emis@education.ohio.gov.

The bulletin did not list the full set of data elements eligible for correction beyond the graduate cohort restriction, or say how many districts typically use the window.
