Ohio's Office of Nutrition, part of the Department of Education and Workforce, says the November order form for USDA Foods delivery is now available through the Commodity Allocation Tracking System. Sponsors have until 11:59 p.m. Friday, Oct. 23, 2026, to submit orders, per the Oct. 8 bulletin.

Access begins by selecting Open Orders, then Continue; if no data appears, sponsors start a new order and choose a delivery location. Multiple sites should each be selected in the drop-down, and each form saved as it opens. Locations that fail to appear can be added by starting a new order, then modified individually to enter quantities.

Sponsors that filed Survey 1054, the 2026-27 Demand Order for USDA Foods, will find requested items and current inventory listed with a district-wide allocated amount; case counts are entered per delivery location and date. Those who skipped the survey are restricted to bonus or surplus items, which are first-come and do not draw on Planned Assistance Level or entitlement funds.

The Finalize Orders function requires all allocated cases to be ordered before submission, a step the department links to USDA compliance on excess inventory. Sponsors who cannot take every allocated case must contact USDA Foods staff before Oct. 16, 2026 and document the reason; canceled cases are not credited to PAL. Finalized orders cannot be changed.

Contacts listed are program specialists Christine Farmer and Justin Chapman. The Office of Nutrition can be reached at 614-466-2945 or 1-800-808-6325.
