Ohio's Department of Education and Workforce is accepting applications from providers seeking a place on its Recommended List of mathematics intervention programs for kindergarten through grade 12 that use evidence-based practices, per a bulletin dated Nov. 3.

The listing covers the 2026-2027 cycle. According to the department, the schedule, criteria and review steps appear on its Approved Intervention Programs webpage.

Two dates govern submissions: an Intent to Apply is due Nov. 30, and the application deadline is Dec. 31.

Prospective applicants can join a vendor call at 1 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 16. The session is intended to explain the 2026-2027 request for applications, its requirements and the Intervention Program Review Rubric. The department provides a registration link.

Inquiries about the review process or about high-quality instructional materials may be directed to MathMaterialsReview@education.ohio.gov.

The bulletin gives no information on how many programs will be listed, what subjects within mathematics are covered, or the cost to applicants.
