Auburn Career Center has again received the highest overall rating—five stars—on Ohio's Career-Technical Planning District Report Card, according to the Geauga County Maple Leaf. This marks the fourth year in a row the school has earned that distinction from the Ohio Department of Education and Workforce.

The report card assesses career-technical education in several areas: student achievement, graduation, career and postsecondary readiness, and success after graduation.

Auburn's reported outcomes include a 98% graduation rate. Within six months of graduating, 98% of its graduates were employed, enrolled in postsecondary education, or serving in the military. Nearly all students—99%—earned at least one industry-recognized credential, and more than 70% completed a 12-point credential pathway.

Superintendent Joe Glavan said the ratings reflect the skills, credentials, and hands-on experience students gain at Auburn.

The center serves over 2,000 high school and adult learners across Lake and Geauga counties through 43 programs. Its offerings include career-technical education, college-credit opportunities, industry credentials, and work-based learning with local employers.
