The Crawford County Community Concert Association has booked the Barricade Boys for a Thursday, Oct. 15 performance at 7 p.m. in Bucyrus, according to a concert announcement. The program is set for the Bucyrus Elementary School Auditorium at 245 Woodlawn Avenue, with doors opening at 6:30 p.m.
The announcement describes the Barricade Boys as a theatrical vocal group from London's West End. It says the act traces back to two friends who were cast members of a widely known musical and who wanted to build a concert evening combining stage favorites with popular, rock and swing selections. Four West End performers make up the group, which the release credits with a repertoire reaching across several musical eras.
According to the announcement, tickets may be obtained through the association's website, crawcocommconcert.com, an iTickests.com link, or by phone at 800-965-9324. Students 18 years old and younger can receive discounts, the release states. The website also carries show previews and details about the following season, it says.
The announcement states that the concert receives partial support from the Community Foundation for Crawford County, AVITA Health System, Ohio Mutual Insurance Group and the Ohio Arts Council.
