The City of Columbus official bulletins announced on Oct. 1, 2026, that the 2026 City of Columbus Human Resources Conference is scheduled for the following day, Oct. 2. The bulletin says the gathering will be at the Creekside Event Center, 101 Mill St., Suite 300, in Gahanna, Ohio.

Registration is set to open at 8:15 a.m., and the conference is to begin at 9 a.m., according to the bulletin. Organizers advise attendees that conference materials are online. Those who want a printed guidebook or agenda are encouraged to print those documents before arriving.

For transportation, the bulletin notes limited free street parking near the venue and recommends the free underground garage directly beneath the Creekside Event Center. Drivers are encouraged to use the orange area of the garage to reach the Building B elevator bank, which goes to the event center on the third floor. Attendees may dress in business casual or professional attire, and jeans and comfortable shoes are also acceptable, the bulletin states.

The bulletin also highlights a service project. Gently used, good-condition business attire will be collected for Dress for Success and My Brother's Closet, organizations that help residents entering or advancing in the workforce who lack business attire. Financial contributions are another option, the bulletin says.
