Clinton County officials have scheduled a January 2027 opening for applications to the county's OneOhio Local Grant Process, according to an announcement from the Board of Commissioners.
Money for the program comes from opioid settlement funds and is meant for work that serves county residents and addresses local substance abuse effects. Proposed projects would need to fit the state's OneOhio Abatement Strategies and follow state rules for spending settlement dollars.
The filing period runs from Jan. 15 to Feb. 15, 2027. Award decisions are expected April 1, 2027.
To qualify, applicants must show a documented community need, describe measurable outcomes and name which groups of residents would benefit. Programs already running may apply, though routine operating costs are not covered by the grants.
Forms become available Jan. 15 through the commissioners' page at co.clinton.oh.us/departments/countycommissioners, and paper copies can be obtained at the commissioners' office, 1850 Davids Drive, Suite 208, Wilmington.
