The Columbus Recreation and Parks Department's Office of Special Events has announced an annual gathering that brings event organizers together with City of Columbus departments.
According to the bulletin, the session is scheduled for Monday, Nov. 2 at 1 p.m. at the Whetstone Park of Roses Shelter House, 3901 N. High St. Organizers were told the shelter house sits downhill from the community center and library, farther into the park.
The described purpose of the meeting is to respond to questions, gather feedback from event organizers and go over adjustments planned for the coming year. Highlights from the session are to be distributed afterward, the notice states.
Those planning to attend were asked to RSVP through an online Smartsheet form provided with the announcement. An organizer who cannot come in person may designate someone else, and the bulletin asks that the substitute be given the RSVP link.
The city thanked organizers for their work and said it hoped to see them in November. The bulletin did not list a registration deadline, a capacity limit or a virtual attendance option.
