Franklin County's most expensive residential sale for September 2026 was a New Albany property that closed at $4 million, based on county auditor records reviewed by NBC4. In Delaware County, the largest transaction that month was $1.75 million for a home on Lindell Lane in Powell.
Four of the five highest-priced Franklin County sales were in New Albany, the station reported. The remaining entry was an Upper Arlington home that traded for $2.7 million.
Delaware County's list was led by Powell, which accounted for three of the top five transactions. After the $1.75 million Lindell Lane closing came a Perry Road property in Delaware at $1.7 million, followed by a Galena residence on Red Bank Road at $1.5 million. Two additional Powell addresses, on Woodland Hall Drive and Riverwood Lane, completed the group at $1.425 million and $1.4 million.
NBC4 said the compilation relied on sale records from the Franklin and Delaware county auditors and was restricted to single-family dwellings, leaving out apartment buildings, duplexes and land purchases. Closing dates for the sales listed fell between Sept. 3 and Sept. 28.
