Columbus officials used a Blueprint bulletin to outline permeable paver and waterline activity tied to the Miller Kelton project during the week of September 21, 2026.
According to the notice, crews are scheduled to build permeable paver roadway and install water service on Carpenter Street from Stone Avenue to Newton Street. Water service transfers are also listed on 22nd Street between Newton Street and Mooberry Street.
The bulletin states that temporary lane closures with flaggers may occur where needed, and that Carpenter Street between Stone Avenue and Newton Street faces a full closure.
Work is expected to occur in winter 2026-2027, the city said, adding that further updates will follow. Construction schedules can change because of weather and site conditions, the bulletin notes.
The notice also directs residents who are unsure whether the work affects them to use the Blueprint map and enter an address. It advertises sump pump installations for a limited time and says residents can ask to join a waitlist for a no-obligation assessment.
Separately, the city asks anyone experiencing a basement backup, described as sewer water rising from a floor drain, to call 614-645-7102. Crews are investigating issues across the city, so responses will not be immediate, according to the bulletin.
Construction questions can go to 614-645-1253 or blueprint@columbus.gov.
