Columbus has published its Miller Kelton construction bulletin for the week of September 14, 2026, covering work described as permeable pavers and waterline improvements.
Permeable paver road construction and water service installations are planned on Carpenter Street from Stone Ave to Newton St. Water service transfers are set for 22nd St from Newton St to Mooberry St.
Temporary lane closures with flaggers may be used as needed. A full closure is planned on Carpenter St between Stone Ave and Newton St. The bulletin states work is expected to take place in late Fall 2026, with updates to follow.
City officials cautioned that construction schedules can change because of weather or site issues, and advised residents unsure of their project area to check the Blueprint map by address.
Residents were also reminded to report basement backups, described as sewer water rising from a floor drain, by calling 614-645-7102. Officials noted crews are investigating issues citywide, so responses will not be immediate, and asked for patience.
Questions or concerns about construction can be directed to 614-645-1253 or blueprint@columbus.gov. The bulletin also mentions sump pump installations are available for a limited time, with a waitlist for a no-obligation assessment.
