A program exploring artificial intelligence, community and the future of work is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 19, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Columbus Metropolitan Library's Whitehall Branch, 4445 East Broad Street, according to a City of Columbus bulletin.

The event, Columbus Builds Forward, is hosted by Dream Machine Innovation Lab, Chime and Columbus Metropolitan Library. The bulletin describes workshops, conversations and creative experimentation about the ways AI is changing work, wealth-building and art.

The announcement also raises questions about who benefits from those changes and who risks being left out. The city included the program in its Eastland community update; residents can follow the original bulletin for event information.
