The City of Columbus Change Support Network issued a monthly recap of its September 16 gathering, which ran from 2:30 to 4 p.m.
According to the bulletin, the group describes itself as an employee community offering peer support by connecting people, elevating perspectives and strengthening culture in service of the city's strategic priorities.
The session's collaboration activity centered on refining culture solutions, with separate teams examining Meaningful Collaboration, Employee Feedback and Succession Planning. Each team reviewed leadership feedback, emphasized realistic piloting, pressure-tested ideas and produced one refined recommendation apiece.
Reported outcomes include incorporating leadership input into recommendations, addressing key challenges, further developing the solutions and supplying material for subcommittees to use.
The bulletin states that CBUS badge cards are now being shared with all city employees, with HR representatives handling distribution to departments over the coming months. Subcommittee volunteers have been contacted to continue refinement work.
The next meeting is scheduled for October 21 from 2:30 to 4 p.m. in the Jerry Hammond Continental Room, and attendees are encouraged to bring a colleague. Questions and suggestions can be directed to the operational team or submitted through the group's feedback form.
