The City of Columbus Compost Facility will not operate Monday, Oct. 12, observing Indigenous Peoples'/Columbus Day. Both Com-Til sales and residential yard waste drop-off are suspended for that day, according to the city's bulletin.
The facility is scheduled to reopen Tuesday, Oct. 13. Its standard weekday schedule runs 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Residents with questions are directed to call 614-645-3153 or email comtil@columbus.gov.
Because the notice was published ahead of the holiday, the closure affects only the single date listed; the Tuesday reopening and weekday hours remain as stated.
