A newer City of Columbus bulletin lists noon Sept. 21 as the registration deadline for the city's 2026 Human Resources Conference. The date updates the Sept. 18 deadline reported in the earlier conference announcement.
The conference remains scheduled for Oct. 2 at the Creekside Event Center in Gahanna's Creekside District. Its theme is Compassionate Leadership: Why Empathy is Your Superpower.
The listed sessions include manager mental health training, workplace influence, legal and ADA updates, psychological safety and short Ignite presentations.
The bulletin also asks participants to bring new or gently used business clothing and accessories for Dress For Success and My Brother's Closet.
