Columbus residents are invited to a Sept. 29 community conversation about air quality hosted by MORPC and the City of Columbus Innovation Team, according to a City of Columbus bulletin.

The event, billed as The Big Table, carries the theme "Air Quality: Protecting Our Air, Preserving Our Future," the bulletin states. It is described as a community-wide day of conversation.

According to the bulletin, the city's Innovation Team has concentrated on sustainability and economic prosperity and recently carried out a pilot program on indoor air quality. MORPC, the bulletin adds, is responsible for outdoor air quality monitoring and alerts across the region.

Organizers say attendees can help shape next steps for the community. Registration is available at www.morpc.org/register, and the bulletin notes that space is limited.

The bulletin also directs readers to connect with Sustainable Columbus.
