The City of Columbus Department of Public Service says it will again open its winter operations to a select group, scheduling a Snow Warriors behind-the-scenes program for Friday, October 9, 2026.
The session is set for the City of Columbus 25th Outpost at 1881 E. 25th Ave., Columbus, OH 43219. According to the bulletin, the program is returning after earlier demand and is meant to show how crews approach planning, equipment and strategy when winter storms hit. The department says guests will see what is involved in keeping the city moving under severe conditions.
Seating is limited, and the notice restricts attendance to invited guests. Those listed as the intended audience are Area Commissioners, Neighborhood Liaisons and City Community Engagement staff, plus media members who receive invitations.
The bulletin instructs interested parties to RSVP with Audri Wilde by email no later than Wednesday, October 7, and to identify the organization they represent when registering. Contact details appear in the original notice.
No independent confirmation of the event logistics was available beyond the department's bulletin.
