Voters in the Crescent-News coverage area will decide local issues and candidate races on Tuesday, according to the newspaper’s county-by-county roundup. The paper says state and Ohio Statehouse races are covered separately and that Fulton, Putnam and Williams entries are limited to its primary coverage areas.

In Defiance County, the library system’s ballot request is a 1.65-mill, 35-year property tax levy. It combines a 0.75-mill renewal for three libraries with a 0.9-mill component for a new county annex on Fort Street. Defiance City voters also will consider a charter amendment that would prohibit data centers using more than 25 megawatts inside city limits. Other requests include school renewals for Ayersville, Central Local and Northeastern, plus fire-service renewals in Hicksville and Washington Township.

The Four County ADAMhs Board’s 0.7-mill, five-year renewal appears in multiple counties. Fulton County items include Sunday wine and mixed-beverage sales questions in Archbold Precinct 3 for two stores, Clinton Township fire, road, cemetery and current-expense levies, a Wauseon school income tax renewal, and Wauseon city parks and zoning measures.

Henry County has a 2.5-mill HOPE Services additional levy and a 1.2-mill health department renewal. Paulding Exempted Village Schools seek a 0.75%, five-year additional income tax for permanent improvements; the paper notes earlier attempts failed in November and May. Williams County has a 1-mill continuing Department of Aging levy and a 0.4-mill OSU Extension renewal.
