The Fayette County Genealogical Society will hold its Annual Sharing Meeting on Monday, Sept. 21, at 7 p.m., according to the Record Herald. The gathering is open to the public.

The meeting room is downstairs in the Economic Development Building at 101 E. East St. in Washington Court House. Participants are invited to bring family keepsakes, genealogy records and items connected with community history.

The announcement followed the society’s Aug. 17 summer outing, when members had dinner at the Rusty Keg Tavern and toured the Fayette County Museum. The museum occupies the Morris Sharp House, built in 1875, with historical exhibits across 14 rooms.
