The Ohio Department of Education and Workforce issued Career Technical Planning District report cards covering the 2025-2026 school year, according to Knox Pages.
Knox County Career Center's district earned an overall five-star rating, a mark the outlet reports signifies performance well above state standards. The district also satisfied all nine federal indicators, or 100%. Knox Pages reports this is the fourth straight year the district has received five of five stars.
Component scores were mixed. Achievement drew four stars, with technical skill attainment passage reported at 89.3%. Graduation rate earned five stars, reflecting a four-year rate of 98.7% and a five-year rate of 98.6%. Career and postsecondary readiness also received five stars, with the reported figure rising from 110.9% to 116.6%. Post-program outcomes drew five stars, with placement at 95.7% for the district and 96.1% for the high school.
Superintendent Kathy Greenich said in a statement that the district aims for excellence and that graduates carry industry credentials, work experience, and professional skills. She also cited partnerships with associate schools and the work of teachers and staff.
The results combine data from the career center's high school and career tech programs at six associate schools: Centerburg, Clear Fork, Danville, East Knox, Fredericktown, and Mount Vernon. Students counted include those in half-day programming and in associate-school classes such as agriculture, family consumer science, and Project Lead the Way.
