Halloween falls on Saturday, Oct. 31, 2026, and WTVG published door-to-door hours for three Lucas County communities for that evening.
Sylvania City and Sylvania Township each set their window at 6 to 7:30 p.m. Springfield Township scheduled a longer period, 6 to 8 p.m.
The posting carried only those three entries under its Lucas County heading, so it does not amount to a countywide schedule. It also directed readers to the station's weather coverage for Halloween forecast details.
The item was published Oct. 30, 2026, the day before the holiday. It did not say how the individual times were decided, whether municipal officials confirmed them, or whether any of the three communities had adjusted hours from prior years.
