Cincinnati Parks announced that Everybody's Treehouse in Mt. Airy Forest is open to the public again. The agency said the structure closed in January 2024 for upgrades intended to keep it safe and sustainable.

According to Cincinnati Parks, crews replaced structural timber pieces and installed a new roof. Guardrails were strengthened and modernized, while wood surfaces were cleaned and sealed. The department said forestry and natural resources staff helped protect nearby trees during the work.

Cincinnati Parks described the treehouse as inclusive and suited to visitors of different ages and abilities. The original treehouse opened in 2006, backed by more than $500,000 in donations and over 4,000 volunteer hours, and spans 1,500 square feet connected to living trees. Partners included the Cincinnati Parks Foundation, the Rotary Club of Cincinnati, the Cincinnati Bengals, and community groups.
