A regional fall schedule covering Crawford, Richland, Marion, Wyandot and Morrow counties has been published by Crawford County Now, listing haunted attractions, harvest festivals and farm-based activities running from mid-September through the end of October 2026.
Haunted offerings include Blood Prison at the Ohio State Reformatory in Mansfield on Fridays through Sundays from September 25 to November 1, an annual haunted house staged inside the historic facility's cellblocks. The Haunted Hoorah in Marion operates Fridays and Saturdays from September 25 through October 31 as an interactive military- and sci-fi-themed attraction spanning 10 acres. The Dead Woods Haunted Trail in Caledonia and Field of Fear along the Wyandot-Crawford county line both run Fridays and Saturdays from October 2 through October 31, featuring outdoor trails with live actors.
Harvest and festival events include the 40th Annual Applefest at Lawrence Orchards in Marion on September 26 and the Prairie Peddler Festival in Butler on September 26-27 and October 3-4, with more than 200 artisan stalls. Wyandot Autumn Harvest Days in Upper Sandusky is set for October 3-4. Bucyrus Spooktacular takes place downtown on October 24, and the Kiwanis Harvest Festival at Waterworks Park in Upper Sandusky is also October 24. The Great Pumpkin Glow at Kingwood Center Gardens in Mansfield runs October 21-25.
Family and farm programming includes Fall Activity Weekends at The Pickwick Place in Bucyrus, Apple Hill Orchards Harvest Days in Mansfield on weekends through October, Goodman Family Farms in Mount Gilead on Saturdays and Sundays from September 19 to October 31, and the Morrow County Farm Bureau Fall Fun Day on October 10.
Other entries include the Crawford Park District Harvest Festival at Lowe-Volk Park on October 3, October Ghost Tours at Brownella Cottage in Galion, the Ohio Bird Sanctuary Fall Festival on October 10 and its Fall Photo Friday on October 16, and the Dogs, Donuts & Drinks .5K in Mansfield on October 10 benefiting the Humane Society of Richland County.
