Preble County commissioners approved a proclamation on Monday, Oct. 19, honoring Bullen Ultrasonics’ Miller Williams facility in Eaton for receiving the 2026 IndustryWeek Best Plants Award. Adam Craft, Rachael Vonderhaar and David Haber are named as the commissioners in the article.
The IndustryWeek award is described as recognizing North American manufacturers for excellence in areas including workplace environments, products, partnerships, safety, and employee engagement and satisfaction. Bullen was among four manufacturers chosen for the award’s 36th class in 2026. The proclamation stated that the Eaton plant was the only Greater Dayton manufacturer selected and the only Ohio manufacturing site to win in seven years; those geographic distinctions are attributed to the proclamation.
The Miller Williams facility, built in 2006 as the company’s home base, was described in the proclamation as a significant Preble County industrial partner that reinvests in its workforce and supports the community. Craft, while reading the proclamation, praised the company’s accomplishments and the national attention it brought to the county. The proclamation also said the recognition reflects on the workforce and Preble County. Commissioners formally commended the company and employees for manufacturing excellence, contributions to the local economy and continued community investment.
