BUTLER — A 66-acre action-sports property on Tugend Road has changed hands. B.J. Wagner and Skip Holman are the new owners of Redneck Ranch, known previously as Stoke Run and Ohio Dreams, and they say they want to return the Butler site to its former standing, Richland Source reported.
Their first event is scheduled for Oct. 16 to 18: Stoke the Midwest 2: Mini Ramp Jam. The featured session is set for Saturday, Oct. 17 at 11 a.m., with divisions listed as Kids, Street, Spine and Dirt Jumps. A $2,000 cash purse is advertised. Weekend entry is $20 for riders and $10 for spectators, with food trucks on site and camping offered at $20 per night.
Current operating hours run Wednesday through Sunday, noon to 8 p.m., per the report. Winter hours are 2 to 8 p.m. on Thursday and Friday and noon to 8 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. The property is described as offering indoor and outdoor skateparks with a foam pit and box jumps, motocross and dirt tracks open to dirt bikes, ATVs and e-motos, and trail riding terrain. Updates are directed to thernrohio.com.
The source also lists a Fall Festival combining daytime family activities with an evening caged grappling session, plus Monday and Wednesday evening sessions for younger riders. Wagner and Holman describe plans for youth camps, private rentals and seasonal community gatherings.
