Drivers in Columbiana County, Ohio face new travel restrictions as the first of five construction phases gets underway, per WKBN.

The initial stage closes the southbound on and off ramps from SR 11 at West Point. The segment of U.S. 30 that passes beneath SR 11 up to the northbound SR 11 on-ramps is also shut down.

Motorists are directed along a detour: SR 11 north to SR 154 west, then SR 154 west back to U.S. 30.

According to the report, the broader effort stretches from West Point to Lisbon and involves removing and replacing existing asphalt along with its concrete base. The five-phase project is expected to wrap up in October 2027.

WKBN notes that project details are available on ODOT's website, while current closure information can be found through OHGO.
