Sheetz opens first Lawrence County location in South Point

Lawrence County, Ohio, now has its first Sheetz store, which opened in South Point on Sandusky Road. The location includes 12 gas pumps along with a building where customers can buy food and drinks.

A grand opening celebration was held Thursday and featured giveaways, including a chance to win $250 in gift cards. Becca Parise, a community engagement specialist for Sheetz, said it was exciting to see a big turnout and that the company had worked a long time to get the store ready.

During the event, Sheetz presented $2,500 to Facing Hunger Food Bank and another $2,500 to Special Olympics of Ohio, according to WSAZ's report.
