Van Wert LIVE has named Kennedy Soltis, a Van Wert High School senior, as the newest participant in its CEO Program internship, the organization announced Sept. 14, 2026.

Soltis will spend the school year with the Van Wert LIVE staff, where the organization says she will receive practical exposure to how a performing arts operation runs. According to the announcement, her time will cover marketing, event preparation, customer service, arts administration and community outreach, along with behind-the-scenes duties connected to shows at the Niswonger Performing Arts Center and in the surrounding community.

The CEO Program links students at Van Wert County schools with area businesses and organizations so they can sample possible careers and build workplace skills through hands-on learning, the announcement states.

In a statement released with the announcement, Soltis said she looks forward to learning from the Van Wert LIVE team and getting practical experience in the creative, artistic and graphic design work used to promote and produce live events.

Executive Director Jarin Hart said the organization is glad to bring Soltis aboard and show her what is required to stage live entertainment locally, adding that the CEO Program offers students meaningful real-world experience. Van Wert LIVE said it has hosted CEO Program interns for more than five years.

Event information and tickets for the Niswonger are available at vanwertlive.com or through the box office, which the announcement says is open Wednesday through Friday, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., by phone at 419-238-6722 or in person.
