Cincinnati Parks is seeking experienced construction firms for a planned overhaul of its Sinton Avenue Operations Hub. The department describes the project as a full redevelopment of a 2.5-acre campus. Work would include renovating an existing 15,000-square-foot building, constructing a new electricians building and building a biochar production facility.

The scope also lists new heating, ventilation and air-conditioning equipment, electrical systems, stormwater controls and electric-vehicle charging stations. Cincinnati Parks says the biochar operation is intended to capture carbon and help trees grow healthier and faster.

The posting addresses certified construction-trades businesses and states that minority- and women-owned business subcontracting goals apply. It also invites general contractors, specialty subcontractors and certified local businesses to consider partnership roles.

Bids are due Dec. 15, 2026, at noon. An informational pre-bid meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, Nov. 4, at 12:30 p.m. at the project site, listed as 2080 Sinton Avenue, 4506. A separate mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held virtually Tuesday, Nov. 10, at 1 p.m.; the posting provides a link. Cincinnati Parks also points bidders to instructions for submitting online bids.
