DEW sets Nov. 20 ODE-to-DEW branding deadline; OCALICONLINE 2026 runs Nov. 17-20; water shutoff at 25 S. Front St. Oct. 31

Department of Education and Workforce staff have until Nov. 20 to convert live materials from ODE to DEW. An employee update dated Oct. 29 says Director Dackin ordered that active PDFs, existing webpage text and other in-use resources be revised in both content and branding by that date.

The same bulletin announces that OCALI will hold OCALICONLINE 2026, an autism and disabilities conference, from Nov. 17 through Nov. 20. Registration can be complimentary through a code for department team members; the update did not include the code itself.

Building operations are also affected. Contractors for the Ohio Department of Administrative Services are scheduled to be at 25 S. Front St. on Saturday, Oct. 31, to work on the domestic water system. No domestic water will be available inside the building while the job is under way.
