Kuchta Farms in Braceville Township is closing out its fall season with a two-day Pumpkin Destruction event, according to WFMJ.

The farm announced the send-off in a Facebook post, the station reported, inviting guests to take a swing at pumpkins. Visitors could pick up a hammer, mallet, bat or other smashing tool and break pumpkins apart in a designated Pumpkin Smash Zone, which the farm counts among its fall traditions.

A separate Little Smashers area was set aside for children, stocked with smaller pumpkins and rubber mallets so younger participants could take part safely, per the report.

Pumpkin destruction was part of general admission, and WFMJ reported that guests could line up again for additional rounds. The farm's last fall weekend also featured wagon rides, a corn maze and donuts.

A $14 All Access Pass covered the wagon ride, the Pumpkin Smash Zone, the corn maze and the barnyard, according to the station. The General Store, Donut Barn and Farmer's Grill were open without farm admission.

The farm is located at 4785 State Route 82 in Newton Falls.

WFMJ published its report on Oct. 30, 2026, describing the event as falling on that weekend's Friday and Saturday.
