The Military Child Education Coalition is organizing a free, interactive expo for Ohio educators who work with military-connected students, according to an Ohio Education and Workforce bulletin.
Future Ready Ohio is scheduled for Nov. 16 from 4 to 6 p.m. at the National Veterans Memorial and Museum. The bulletin does not specify the calendar year of the event.
Per the announcement, educators attending will be introduced to the coalition and will build professional knowledge about Purple Star best practices. The agenda also includes time to meet other educators serving military-connected students, distribution of free books and literacy materials, and a tour of the museum.
Educators who wish to take part are directed to sign up through the Future Ready Ohio Eventbrite page. The bulletin lists no registration deadline, capacity limit or cost beyond describing the expo as free.
All details above come from the announcing bulletin and have not been independently confirmed.
