Clinton County drivers will keep meeting construction-related restrictions into November, the Ohio Department of Transportation said in an update published Oct. 26. The agency says schedules depend on weather and directs motorists to OHGO.com for statewide conditions.
Bridge work has shut State Route 134 near the Highland County line, north of State Route 124, through mid-November. Traffic is routed onto U.S. 50, U.S. 68 and State Route 28.
In Wilmington, Davids Drive is closed between Rombach Avenue (U.S. 22) and Lynne Lane for pavement reconstruction, with a reopening target of about Nov. 18. The detour uses Progress Way, Airborne Road, State Route 134 and Davids Drive.
Interstate 71 resurfacing between the Smith Road and Gurneyville Road overpasses brings single-lane travel in each direction overnight, roughly 9 p.m. to 7 a.m., in the stretch between the State Route 73 and U.S. 68 interchanges.
U.S. 22 resurfacing runs from the Warren County line to the Wilmington corporation limit, with flaggers keeping a lane open. On State Route 28, crews are handling bridge rehabilitation between State Route 73 and Phillips Road in New Vienna, plus chip-seal and guardrail work from just west of Gibson Road to State Route 73. State Route 133 over Whitakers Run near Blanchester stays open under daytime flagging.
State Route 350 has two zones: finishing work between First Street in Clarksville and State Route 730, and pavement rehabilitation from U.S. 68 at Cuba to State Route 73 at Snow Hill, where crews work about 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. ODOT listed that job's completion as scheduled for late October, a window that had already arrived when the update appeared. State Route 730 chip-seal work between Sprague Road and Nelson Avenue in Wilmington also limits traffic to one lane.
