The Ohio Department of Transportation has outlined Clinton County construction work scheduled through November, with effects ranging from overnight Interstate 71 lane closures to a full State Route 134 closure. ODOT said the work is weather-dependent and directed drivers to OHGO.com for current conditions.

On I-71, resurfacing between the State Route 73 and U.S. Route 68 interchanges will leave one lane open in each direction overnight, roughly 9 p.m. to 7 a.m., from the Smith Road overpass to the Gurneyville Road overpass. Completion is expected in November.

A bridge replacement on State Route 134 over the East Fork Little Miami River, north of State Route 124 near the Highland County line, will keep that road closed through mid-November. The detour uses U.S. Route 50, U.S. Route 68 and State Route 28. In Wilmington, Davids Drive is closed between Rombach Avenue and Lynne Lane for pavement reconstruction through about Nov. 18, with traffic routed by Progress Way, Airborne Road and State Route 134.

Other restrictions include single-lane travel with flaggers on U.S. Route 22 from the Warren County line to the Wilmington corporation limit; daytime lane limits on State Route 28 for bridge work and chip-seal and guardrail work; and daytime flagger control on State Route 133 in Blanchester. State Route 350 has finishing work near Clarksville and pavement rehabilitation between Cuba and Snow Hill, where one lane will be open daily from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. State Route 730 will have chip-seal paving between Sprague Road and Nelson Avenue in Wilmington, with flaggers or temporary signals.
