ODOT's Oct. 26 announcement outlined two Fayette County traffic matters affecting Washington Court House drivers. Resurfacing crews are starting on two stretches of U.S. 22 and U.S. 62 plus a section of Market Street, the agency said. The U.S. 22 work runs along Clinton Avenue from Fairview Avenue to the Five Points intersection at Court Street. On U.S. 62, Leesburg Avenue is affected from Jamison Road to that same intersection. Market Street work is set between Hinde Street and Columbus Avenue.

Crews may work from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily, according to ODOT. Flaggers and traffic-control devices are expected to keep at least one lane open through the work zone. The agency listed December as the interim completion target. All schedules depend on weather, ODOT said, and real-time conditions are available through OHGO.com.

Separately, the roundabout at U.S. 22 and Jamison Road is open in its final layout. Finishing work could still bring temporary lane restrictions and flaggers. ODOT advised drivers to slow down, watch for stopped traffic and use caution in active work zones.
