The Ohio Department of Education and Workforce issued a reminder that the T-1 Report deadline is Nov. 1, 2026, and said it will host live Microsoft Teams open office hours in the days ahead. The sessions are meant to give districts on-demand help from department staff rather than a formal presentation, and the bulletin linked a T-1 User Guide.

Districts were also told that DRIVES currently blocks users holding the Superintendent or Treasurer role from editing data. Entries must come from someone with the Transportation Supervisor or Director role. The department said it recognizes the inconvenience and has requested system changes for fiscal year 2028.

Separately, re-affirmation for school bus and motor van drivers closes Oct. 31, 2026. An employer or district that misses that date will have its drivers removed from Rapback, and those drivers cannot transport students until they are re-enrolled, according to the bulletin. A State Board of Education link was offered for details.

The Pupil Transportation Office said it understands the frustration districts have already encountered with DRIVES and thanked them for their patience.
