Ohio EMIS bulletin posts FY27 staff/course collection v3, sets Nov. 2 CTE override application start

The Ohio Department of Education and Workforce has posted version 3 of the FY27 Initial Staff and Course (L) Collection, according to an EMIS Newsflash dated October 26, 2026. The bulletin refers readers to Release Notes for details about the recently posted collection request, but the newsflash text does not include those notes.

Separately, the department said it will begin accepting applications for FY27 CTE Teacher Licensure Overrides on Monday, November 2. It directed applicants to the CTE Data and Accountability website for posted request instructions and a request template. Completed templates and supporting documentation are to be submitted to CTETeacherOverride@education.ohio.gov.

The newsflash also lists the department’s Columbus address at 25 South Front Street and provides phone numbers and an EMIS email contact. It does not describe the override review process, state when the application period will close, or outline review criteria.
